In November 2011 a sound monument was inaugurated at Old Port of Quebec. Eight women are there singing forever in the river’s bank - in front of the Naval Museum - calling for their lovers, clients, children, husbands... They represent those women who died at sea in the first and second world war, working mainly with radio broadcasting.
They are available to be heard through an application installed on a cell phone with GPS and Internet.
Its an artistic project of the artist Claudio Bueno supported by La Chambre Blanche, MIS (Museum of Image and Sound), Avatar and La Bande Video.
